IAC Certification Renewal process
Renewing your IAC Certification shows your commitment and support to the coaching profession and ensures your credentials remain active and recognised. All IAC Certifications are eligible for renewal beginning 90 days prior to the renewal date mentioned on the certificate.
By renewing your hard-earned designation on time you will :
- Ensure that your Certificate is active
- Avoid late Fee charges; and
- Avoid the need to retake the certification process.
Always use the email address registered with IAC for renewals, and transactions.
Your registered email is unique to you and ensures all transactions are processed correctly.
Your renewal window opens 90 days prior to your certificate’s expiry date. We encourage you to complete your renewal on or before the due date to avoid late fees.
Renewal Process and Fee
Renewal Period: To be renewed every 5 years.
Requirements: Active IAC membership (maintained annually). If your IAC membership is not active, kindly renew your annual membership before proceeding with Certificate renewal.
Certification Renewal Fee:
- USD150 for 5 years from the expired date on the certificate.
- The certification renewal Fee is non-refundable.
If you hold an IAC-Certified Coach designation and subsequently earn your IAC Master Coach before the IAC-CC renewal date, your renewal timeline will be recalculated from the date of your most recent certificate (IAC Master Coach).
The IAC-Masteries Practitioner is a learning designation that reflects your commitment to practising the Coaching Masteries® and integrating high-level coaching skills into your professional life. We encourage all Masteries Practitioners to take the next step toward full certification.
Renewal Period:
- To be renewed every 2 years
Requirements:
- Active IAC membership (maintained annually). If your IAC membership is not current, kindly renew your annual membership before proceeding with Certificate renewal.
- Submit your learning plan (MPDP) for review before the renewal of the certificate, as per the MPDP submission process

Certification Renewal Fee:
- USD 50 for 2 years from the date on the certificate.
- The certification renewal fee is non-refundable.
- MPDP Review Fee of USD $150 , as per MPDP submission process

If you hold an IAC-Masteries Practitioner designation and subsequently earn your IAC-Certified Coach or Master Coach before the IAC-Masteries Practitioner designation renewal date, your renewal timeline will be recalculated from the date of your most recent certificate (IAC-Certified Coach or IAC-Master Coach). Ensure that you submit your recording well in advance so that your certification is awarded before your IAC-Masteries Practitioner renewal date.
- Lapsed less than 6 months, the late renewal Fee is USD50.
- Lapsed more than 6 months, less than 1 year, the late renewal Fee is USD100.
- Lapsed more than 1 year, you have to restart your certification journey from Step 1 as per the current certification process.
