From the President

Over millennia the concepts of time and space have fascinated the human race. From an ancient past when Incas believed that both time and space were merged, technological advances have ensured that we are gaining a deeper understanding of our complex world, an understanding that might even transcend the fourth dimension of time.

With digital technology forcing a convergence of geographical and historical boundaries, the IAC is keeping pace with these global forces to make us relevant, impactful, and transformational in an increasingly “flat world.”

IAC Founder Thomas Leonard was a “flat world” pioneer in many ways. He was the first to introduce and actively encourage virtual coaching when most coaching organizations dismissed the method as ineffective. Today, it is not unusual to find coaching being conducted on the phone or via online platforms with coach and coachee physically located across continents.

In recent months, we continue to remain inspired by Thomas’s vision for a world that is “one” and have launched a slew of initiatives to make us truly global. These include launching a completely revamped website www.certifiedcoach.org that offer multilingual options including Spanish, Chinese, Hindi, Malay, French and a host of other languages.

We have launched the Spanish and Chinese (traditional) language edition of our bi-monthly newsletter, the IAC VOICE, and have ramped up our presence on social media across Asia and South America.

Holding steadfast in our belief that coaching possesses, possibly, the most powerful mechanism to bring together the world, the IAC takes pride in the diversity of our team scattered over 80 countries and functioning as one family.

In appreciation,

Krishna Kumar
