by Charlie Boyer Last month, we called your attention to the new licensure requirement, beginning January 2015, that ALL licensees must have at least one coach who is IAC Certified at the Masteries Practitioner (MP) level or higher. New licensing information is being sent to all applicants and current licensees to keep everyone informed and up to date. The Committee reviewed and approved four applications for licensure this past month. Thanks especially to Pepe Del Rio for his translating skills, as several of the applications were submitted in Spanish. Thanks, also, to Natalie Tucker Miller for joining us for a lively half-hour discussion session! The language issue is an important one for us as an international association. This affects licensure as well as certification and is an issue that we encourage the Board of Governors to continue to study and resolve. We plan to continue our efforts to review the licensure purposes and refine the application procedures. We are most appreciative of the IAC Certifiers, who provide opportunities for licensees to learn more about the IAC and the Masteries. Your questions and comments are most welcome. For further information about IAC licensure, contact the Licensing Committee at licensing@certifiedcoach.org.
