Quo Vadis Coaching? 2026: Coaching for a World in Transition

Welcome to The International Association of Coaching’s Online Conference — Quo Vadis Coaching? 2026!

The International Association of Coaching® (IAC®) is pleased to welcome you to Quo Vadis Coaching? 2026, taking place online from November 10 to 13, 2026. This is our annual global conversation about where coaching is going and how we, as coaches, have the potential to evolve with it. This year, we gather around one central theme: Coaching for a World in Transition.

We are living through profound shifts in how people work, lead, connect, learn, and experience the world. Organizations are rethinking how people collaborate and lead, our understanding of human diversity continues to deepen, and coaches are being called to meet complexity with greater awareness, adaptability, and humanity. In this context, coaching has an important role to play—not by offering all the answers, but by creating the conditions for meaningful dialogue, learning, and connection.

Under the theme “Coaching for a World in Transition”, Quo Vadis Coaching? 2026 invites us to explore three timely perspectives: Team Coaching, Coaching Neurodivergent Clients, and Compassion in Coaching. Together, we will consider how coaches can work effectively with collective systems, honor different ways of experiencing the world, and bring compassion more intentionally into the way we accompany others.

Across these conversations, we return to a question that has always been at the heart of Quo Vadis Coaching?: Where is coaching going? In 2026, that question becomes even more relevant: How can coaching evolve to remain deeply human in a world in transition?

WHAT YOU CAN EXPLORE AT QUO VADIS COACHING? 2026

  • Team Coaching: As organizations increasingly depend on collaboration across functions, cultures, and boundaries, coaching is expanding beyond the individual. Explore the dynamics of coaching teams as living systems and how coaches can help teams strengthen relationships by understanding their collective energy, synergy, and capability to create meaningful results together.
  • Coaching Neurodivergent Clients: Human beings think, process information, communicate, focus, and experience their environments in different ways. This conversation invites coaches to deepen their understanding of neurodiversity and consider how coaching can become more responsive, inclusive, and respectful of different ways of being – expanding their ways of approaching clients.
  • Compassion in Coaching: In times of uncertainty and pressure, compassion can become an essential dimension of meaningful coaching. Explore what it means to bring compassion into the coaching relationship—as a way of meeting people with kindness, humanity, presence, courage, and care while supporting growth, accountability, and action.

Together, these three conversations invite us to look at coaching through multiple lenses: the collective lens of teams, the inclusive lens of neurodiversity, and the human lens of compassion. Each offers a different perspective on what coaches may need as the people, organizations, and communities we serve continue to navigate transition.

Quo Vadis Coaching? 2026 is an invitation to learn, question, connect, and reflect together. As we explore Coaching for a World in Transition, we continue IAC®’s commitment to advancing coaching mastery and creating spaces where coaches from around the world can contribute to the ongoing evolution of our profession. By asking Quo Vadis Coaching?, we invite you to meet and explore together where coaching is heading and where we are going as coaches.

Please mark your calendar for November 10–13, 2026, and join coaches from around the world for this global learning experience!
