Cross-Cultural Coaching: An interview with coaching researcher, Céline Rojon

Recently, Céline Rojon and A. McDowall published a paper in the International Journal of Evidence Based Coaching and Mentoring titled “Cultural Orientations Framework (COF) assessment questionnaire in cross-cultural coaching: A cross-validation with Wave Focus Styles.” While one of the aims of the research was to evaluate a new self-report measure developed for use in cross-cultural coaching, what is particularly applicable to practising coaches is their investigation of the potential cultural differences between Britain and Germany and the identification of issues that could feed into a best practice guide for using the COF (Rosinski, 2007) in coaching, particularly in the context of culture.
