Overview

Starting January 1st, 2022, the  School Accreditation replaces the Masteries Licensing model. Experienced and novice coaches worldwide are turning to The Coaching Masteries® as their preference for professional development and certification because they apply in all cultures and aspects of life and business.

Coach mentors and coach training Organizations are also turning to the The Coaching Masteries® to expand their offerings and resources for their coach trainees by becoming IAC® Accredited Schools. The School Accreditation creates various opportunities for mentors and teachers to support coaches to move toward becoming IAC-Masteries Practitioner™ and IAC-Certified Coach™.

In addition, the School Accreditation incorporates The Coaching Masteries®, IAC Code of Ethics®, IAC Values, Mission, Membership, and Certification process into their commercial mentoring or training programs.

With this access to The Coaching Masteries®, Licensees can assist clients or students in becoming IAC® certified and leverage IAC®’s rigorous certification process that promotes coaching excellence and professionalism.

Terms and conditions

All licensees receive the title of IAC® Accredited School. They also receive a logo with an embedded link to a web page that explains what it means to be an IAC® Accredited School.

Schools will appear in a professional listing linked on IAC®’s website, raising their visibility with potential clients and students.

Our IAC® Accredited schools and mentors are valued partners in achieving coaching mastery. But, again, because of the necessity of the IAC® certification process (IAC-CC™/IAC-MC™) remaining utterly independent of the training process, the certification remains into IAC®’s Certification authority.

Under the Accreditation Agreement, the school may include The Coaching Masteries®, and the IAC Code of Ethics®, unaltered and with the copyright notice, as part of a product and or service (e.g., coach training program, training audio or video product, virtual study group, etc.).

IAC® will provide official language translations of The Coaching Masteries® and IAC Code of Ethics® upon request. If the translation in a particular language is not available, Licensees must obtain permission from IAC® to create an official translation, subject to final review by IAC® before distributing.

To become an IAC® Accredited School, you’ll need to be an IAC-Certified Coach™ (Completed Step 2 of IAC® Certification process), and present to the School Accreditation Committee (sac@certifiedcoach.org) your intended training programs, including at least:

  • The teaching of The Coaching Masteries®
  • The teaching of IAC Code of Ethics®
